Founder & President

Morgan Donat Hancock

Morgan Donat Hancock is most importantly Marshall’s mom. She graduated from Indiana
University South Bend with a degree in Human and Behavioral Sciences. While at IUSB she
was a founding member of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, where she did much of her work with new member engagement and philanthropic endeavors. She has worked with her father in his
construction business since graduating, as she has since she could walk. In 2020 Morgan and
her husband, Michael, started their own business, Hancock Logistics LLC.

Morgan believes that supporting local businesses, organizations, and the arts builds a stronger and healthier community. Morgan is currently active with Sunburst Races as a social
ambassador and Soma Pole Studio as an instructor.

Along with her husband, she is the founder of Marshall Pierce Foundation  and currently
serves as President of our Board of Directors.
It is Morgan's mission that despite his devastating loss, Marshall’s light continues to shine by supporting others through the work of the foundation.

Board Member & Vice President

Brandon Hooven

Brandon Hooven, a 2011 Graduate of Indiana University - Bloomington, has over 15 years of experience in sales, management, and leadership.  Building his career around the core belief that strong relationships drive lasting success.  Brandon’s professional background specializes in relationship building, community engagement, blending marketing tactics with a people-first approach, and creating strategies that turn trust into long-term partnerships.

Brandon also has over 20 years of experience in the auto racing industry, as a pit crew member, spotter, and sports marketing agent; assisting with sponsorship proposals and acquisition.  He has worked with teams locally, as well as in ARCA, Nascar, and Indy Car and is excited to be able to use the auto racing platform to further promote and grow the mission behind the Marshall Pierce Foundation.

Brandon’s connection to the foundation is rooted in the power of friendship, and those friendships that become family.  Although we were only blessed with Marshall for such a short time, he impacted so many lives.  Brandon fondly remembers seeing how Marshall’s eyes would light up as he was exploring the simple things of the world, and learning new things through new experiences every day, and those moments changed Brandon’s outlook and perspective… to look at things, and appreciate things, as if learning through the eyes of a child.  Brandon has also been inspired to become an organ donor, because of the impact that Marshall was able to make, and the lives he was able to save.  He was a real-life hero.  Brandon feels blessed, and honored, to be even a small part of this mission…  supporting those in the community, and honoring Marshall and his family.
